The Image, Style & Design framework stems from a course, Managing for Image, Style & Design, Steven Fischer introduced at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in 2008.  Prior that he introduced at Northwestern coursework on the luxury and fashion industries.  Teaching Design Planning at Illinois Institute of Technology’s Institute of Design kindled Steven’s interest in the importance of design and its influences – hence seeing the importance of style factors on a consumer’s choice.  Steven’s post-baccalaureate work was teaching in Japan public junior and senior high schools.
